Serves 4-6.
Ingredients:
- 4 apples, peeled, sliced and stewed
- 90g self raising flour
- 60g sugar
- 60g butter
- 25ml milk
- 1 egg
Method:
Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add egg.
Sift flour and add to mixture alternatively with milk.
Place apples in lightly greased ovenproof dish, and spoon over batter.
Bake at 180° C for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with custard and cream.
