For 25-30 pieces.
Ingredients:
- 500ml flour
- 250ml milk
- 50ml sugar
- 20ml butter, melted
- 20ml baking powder
- 2ml salt
- 2 eggs
Method:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs and sugar together, the stir in milk and butter.
Fold in flour mixture, and stir well to form a smooth butter.
Bake tablespoonfuls on a hot griddle or in a heavy based pan, turning once.
Serve with butter, honey, maple syrup or jam, and cream.
