Pear delight

Serves 4-8.

Ingredients:
  • 8 pears, peeled, quartered
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1t vanilla essence
  • 2t cinnamon powder
  • 100mL milk
  • 1/2 cup cream

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the pears in a greased oven-proof dish. Whisk together the other ingredients except for 2T sugar and 2t cinnamon. Pour the mixture on top of the pears.
Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes after sprinkling with 2T sugar and 2t cinnamon.
Decorate with a chantilly flavoured with a bit of liqueur.
