Ingredients:
- 250g chocolate
- 120g cubed butter
- 80g sugar
- 6 eggs
- 6 T flour
- 3 T water
- 1T rhum
- 125g chocolate (for a rich cream topping)
- 100ml fresh cream (for a rich cream topping)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the chocolate with the water. Add the cubed butter and mix until melted. Add the rhum, egg yolks, sugar and flour. Mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff, then slowly and delicately fold into the chocolate mixture.
Lower the temperature of the oven to 120°C. Pour into buttered mould and bake for 20min.
For a rich cream topping:
Melt chocolate with cream over low heat until smooth and creamy. When tepid, pour onto cold cake.
